Tour:
The Golden Triangle with Royal Rajasthan
On Hotels
Staying in Heritage Hotels made the trip extra special. Neemrana Fort Palace
was definitely the best - the ambience, service, and good food combine to
really make it a unique and amazing place.
On Transport &
Driver
Rajesh is a very skilled driver. Navigating the city traffic
and urban roads is not a small challenge in India, but Rajesh was great. He
never hesitated to drive late at night or pick us up from late night
outings. As an added courtesy, he always opened the car doors for us and
kept the car very clean. Also, thank you for booking train travel for us
from Rathambhore to Bharatpur. Saving us the long car journey was brilliant!
On Guides/Escorts
I'm not sure words can
actually describe our gratitude to Jeetu, our guide. At the start of our
tour, we explained to Jeetu that we were interested in seeing the "real
India" rather than "tourist India." He planned our journey to
include side trips to villages and meals in Indian restaurants. We were
honored that he invited us to his home to meet his family and enjoy a
home-cooked meal, which was a highlight of our trip. He also introduced us
to his cousin, who invited us to her wedding. Experiencing the real culture
and traditions of India was exactly what we wanted and Jeetu went above &
beyond the call of duty to provide that to us.
Additionally, his
attention to detail is very commendable. In particular, booking Safaris at
the Sawai Madhopur Lodge seemed to be a bit of an obstacle. Jeetu took care
of everything for us and we were never bothered. He also managed to secure
room upgrades for us!
Overall, his service truly reflected his
love for India. His dedication to us, attention to detail and ability to
customise our trip to meet our preferences has been unmatched by any other
tour guides we've traveled with. By the end of the trip, Jeetu was no longer
our tour guide - he was our close friend.
On Price
We felt that the price of the trip was very competitive and included many "extras"
that we didn't expect. Overall a great value.
On Tour Company
A very professional operation - we especially appreciated the time and
effort spent on customising our tour. We won't hesitate in recommending
Compass to other travelers to India. We enjoyed our trip so much that we are
definitely planning to return to India and explore other regions with
Compass as our guide!
Many thanks for such a wonderful
experience.

Departure
Dear Durjay,
I'm sorry we were not able to get
together at the end of our trip.
It was very hectic not knowing if we
were going to get on the Air France flt. to Paris that night.
We did
and we connected with a Delta flt out of Paris shortly after we got there,
and arrived In Denver, Colorado at 5:00 PM on Wednesday--had a two hour
drive to Vail , Colorado where we live and all ended well.
I hope Mr.
Rahul waited no longer than 1:30. We liked our trip and would book with you
again if India is our destination.
I'm on my way to the store to get
lentils and other ingredients for India food. Please tell Nilanjana her
cooking class was invaluable to me.
I'm proceeding with confidence with
a new cuisine for me because of her.
Thank you for a good trip to
India.
Kay
